DuBois, PA – The City of DuBois is preparing for more streetscape improvement projects, with construction starting in April and lasting through September.
City officials will be working on Main Street, DuBois Street, and the roads connecting to the two streets.
The project includes reconstruction of the bituminous road surface, concrete curb, drainage facilities, street lighting, accessible sidewalk ramps, and some improvements to the sidewalks along the Main Street-DuBois Street corridor.
Although city workers say they will make every effort possible to make sure you can still use your driveways and front doors, there may be some days this summer where your property will be temporarily blocked in. They ask that you be patient and remember that the construction will be worth it in the end.
If you have any questions, please contact City Manager Herm Suplizio or City Engineer Chris Nasuti at 814-371-2000.
