PUNXSY COUPLE ACCUSED OF USING METH IN FRONT OF CHILD

Methamphetamine meth drugs

Punxsutawney, PA – A Punxsutawney couple allegedly used meth in front of their child, who then made the brave choice to turn them in.

35-year-old Christopher Lowmaster and 31-year-old Brittney Lowmaster are no strangers to police, who have responded to drug-related incidents with them previously.

In late February, a young girl told her guidance counselor that her father and setp-mother, Christopher and Brittney Lowmaster, were selling heroin and using crystal meth.

When police were brought in to interview the girl, she also confessed that her parents had done so much meth that they once stayed up for several days straight.

She also says her father forced her to help him find his veins and made her inject him with the drugs.

The couple both face misdemeanors for endangering the welfare of children. Christopher Lowmaster is facing an additional charge for the corruption of minors. He is being held in the Jefferson County Jail on $40,000 bail, and Brittney Lowmaster is being held on $30,000 bail. Both preliminary hearings are scheduled for March 27.
