Jefferson County, PA – It was a last-minute state budget this year for Pennsylvania. Many of the decisions on how the budget will make ends meet are still being worked out, even though the bill itself has officially lapsed into law.

Representative Cris Dush from Jefferson and Indiana Counties admits that it’s not a perfect budget, but it’s better than a budget impasse.

There is still a shortfall in the budget. Two potential ways of gaining revenue would be to relax laws involving gambling and the sale of alcohol, though no decision has been made yet.
