REYNOLDSVILLE WOMAN INJURED IN UTILITY VEHICLE CRASH

Washington Township, PA – A Reynoldsville woman had to be flown to the hospital after a crash in Jefferson County late Monday morning.

58-year-old Sandra Laney of Punxsutawney pulled out a stop sign at the intersection of Pardus Road and Hormtown Road in Washington Township, near Reynoldsville.

The left side of her SUV was struck by 53-year-old Holly Plummer of Reynoldsville, who was driving a John Deere utility vehicle. Plummer was flown to UPMC Altoona by helicopter for her injuries.

There’s no word on how severely she was injured or her current condition. Her utility vehicle had damage but was able to be driven from the scene.

Laney and her passenger, 82-year-old Clara Cressley of Punxsutawney, were both wearing their seatbelts. Laney had minor injuries, and Cressley was not injured.
