Houtzdale, PA – The final members of a family involved in a Clearfield County cocaine ring have been sent to state prison.
52-year-old Pamela Gavlak was sentenced to 22 months to 5 years in prison for her role in a drug ring involving her two children, her son-in-law, and his uncle.
The case dates back to a lengthy investigation last spring in Houtzdale. The ring was reportedly selling more than $10,000 of cocaine each month.

The film “Like Arrows” follows the journey of a couple who becomes pregnant, the birth and growth of their children, and how their marriage grows over time as well.

Pennsylvania – New studies show that kids are starting to drink earlier than you might have ever expected, so the Pennsylvania Liquor Control Board is urging parents to have an ongoing discussion about alcohol with their kids.
It’s part of their Know When, Know How campaign.
The study says that about 37 percent of children in the US have tried alcohol by age 8. By age 12, that number jumps up to 66 percent.
DuBois Jaycees Easter Eggs
DuBois, PA – The DuBois City Park was polka-dotted with thousands of colorful eggs on Saturday for the annual DuBois Jaycees free Easter egg hunt!
More than 200 kids, from babies to 10 years old, came out to meet the Easter Bunny and find some candy-filled eggs.
Although it took the Jaycees volunteers more than an hour to hide the eggs, it took the kids only minutes to collect them up!
