John E. Naugle, age 87 of DuBois, passed away Sunday, Oct. 29 at Penn Highlands DuBois.
Family and friends of John Naugle will be received on Wednesday, Nov. 1 from 2 until 4 and 6 until 8 p.m. at the Adamson Funeral Chapel.
Funeral services for John Naugle will be held on Thursday, Nov. 2 at 11 a.m. at the Adam Funeral Chapel in DuBois.
Morris Township, PA – A Philipsburg man has died of an apparent gunshot wound in Clearfield County.
36-year-old Brett Bamat was shot around 8:30 last night at a home along Bass Lane in Morris Township.
One man is currently in custody after reportedly fleeing the scene, although police are not releasing his name.
Police are still investigating the cause and manner of the death.
An autopsy is scheduled for today.
Sykesville, PA – A Sykesville man was arrested for allegedly breaking into his ex-girlfriend’s home and assaulting her.
Police were called out to the woman’s home in Reynoldsville on Oct. 19 when she said that 40-year-old Jeremy Sedor had broken into through the front door around 1 o’clock that morning.
She said she tried to hide in her 1-year-old son’s bedroom, but Sedor reportedly broke through that door as well. The door landed on the crib where the baby was lying.
Perry Township, PA – A Punxsutawney man was seriously injured yesterday after a crash in Jefferson County.
40-year-old Dallas Milliron overcompensated on a curve on Number 8 Road in Perry Township around 6:45 p.m.
His truck hit an embankment, and Milliron was taken to Punxsutawney Hospital with moderate to severe injuries.
Alcohol is suspected to play a role in the crash.

Reese’s candies are also the most popular nationwide for Halloween, followed by Kit Kat and Twix.
The survey shows that most Pennsylvanians who are wearing costumes are planning to dress as a character from their favorite TV show. Expect to see lots of costumes from Game of Thrones,
Osceola Mills, PA – A 26-year-old Osceola Mills man is accused of putting a GPS tracking device on a 21-year-old Osceola Mills woman’s vehicle without her consent.
The investigation is ongoing.

Jacqueline Rokoski, age 86 of DuBois, passed away Thursday, Oct. 26.
There will be no public visitation.
A Mass of Christian Burial for Jacqueline Rokoski was celebrated at the St. Joseph Roman Catholic Church.
The Baronick Funeral Home and Crematorium has been in charge of the arrangements.
