The young actors at the Reitz theater will be at it again on a larger scale this year.  This time they are in the “Theatreverse” attending the Super Academy to decide who is a Superhero and who is a Super Villain.

We invite students K-12th grade and young adults ages 14 – 22 to participate in the 2018 Devising Theater Workshops, the theme being “Super Academy.”

Super Academy starts with a Writing Workshop on May 12 from 10:00am – 12:30pm.  Join us to help write this summer’s vignettes. We begin production workshops on July 9th with the following schedule:

Performances-(Thursday-Saturday) August 9,10 & 11 6:30pm

We will create a production from the ground up with the students at all levels of theatrical ability.  Students will learn all types of stagecraft and participate in a SUPER experience.

RTP’s Children’s Workshop (Grades K-8th) returns under the direction of veteran Reitz Theater Player, Andi Kohlhepp. Seasoned theatre practitioner, Mary Beth Geppert will lead the Young Adults’ Workshop (ages 14 – 22). We look forward to seeing you this summer.
