PUNXSUTAWNEY – A Jefferson County man is facing indecent assault and corruption of minor’s charges for allegedly touching a young girl inappropriately.
A State Police report says 40-year-old Patrick Hughes of Punxsutawney has admitted to touching the juvenile, but claims it was an accident. The alleged assault happened at a Perry Township residence in April. Hughes was arragined on two felonies and two misdemeanors.
He is currently free after posting bond on his $100,000 bail amount. A preliminary hearing for Hughes is scheduled for June 26th.
