VANDALS SPRAY-PAINT GRAFFITI ONTO BRIDGE IN WEEDVILLE

Weedville, PA – Vandals spray-painted several bridges and roadways around Weedville recently.

Police suspect the graffiti happened either late Sunday night or early Monday morning.

Jay Township and PennDOT crews are working to remove the paint.

PENNDOT’S PAINT THE PLOW WINNERS

Harmony Paint the Plow 2017

Clearfield, PA – Two schools were chosen as winners in District 2 of PennDOT’s Paint the Plow contest. Six schools across three counties participated in the contest, the second year it’s been offered in District 2.

St. Joseph’s Catholic Academy in Boalsburg was chosen as the Fan Favorite winner by people voting on PennDOT’s Facebook page.

The overall winner was chosen by a panel of judges, based on the theme “ice and snow,

 

VOLUNTEERS NEEDED TO PAINT RED MISSION HOUSE

Red Mission House West Long Avenue

DuBois, PA – Help the Red Mission House finish up their summer project!

They still need people to paint the second story and window trim – all experience levels welcome.

The RMH will provide all the supplies and can arrange meals for volunteers, if needed.
